This is for small businesses in the US and the UK, healthcare practices included, whose WordPress or Wix site has grown slow, fragile or expensive to keep patched. A move of up to 20 pages starts at $750 and takes 2 to 3 weeks. Every old address is redirected, the content and forms come across, and I watch Search Console for 30 days after launch.
The risk in a move is not the new site. It is the old addresses. Every page Google already ranks, and every link another site points at you, lives at an address. Move the site without mapping those and the traffic you built over years goes to a 404 page.
What I do
- List every old address, from the site itself and from what Google has indexed.
- Build the new site on Next.js, with the content moved across: pages, posts and images.
- Rebuild the forms, so enquiries still reach you on day one.
- Fix Core Web Vitals, so pages load fast on a phone.
- Redirect every old address to its new page at launch.
- Watch Search Console for 30 days, so anything Google trips on gets caught early.
A recent move
A US medical billing company's site moved from WordPress to Next.js on Vercel and went live on 2 November 2026. It scores 98 on mobile PageSpeed. Of its 134 old addresses, 129 now lead to their new pages, and the other 5 were retired on purpose.
Hosting
The new site goes on a hosting account in your name, and its provider bills you directly. I don't resell hosting for this work, so the site stays yours.
For healthcare practices
The move covers your public pages only. Forms that collect health details are not rebuilt on the new site, so it never holds patient data.
Common questions
- How much does it cost to move a WordPress site to Next.js?
- With me, from $750 for a site of up to 20 pages, done in 2 to 3 weeks. That covers redirecting every old address, moving the content, rebuilding the forms, fixing Core Web Vitals, and watching Search Console for 30 days after launch. A bigger site is priced once I see the page count.
- Will I lose my Google rankings if I move off WordPress?
- Not if every old address points to its new page, which is the main thing this job protects. I map the old addresses before launch, redirect each one, and watch Search Console for 30 days afterwards so anything Google trips on gets caught early.
- Can you move a Wix site too?
- Yes. Wix does not export cleanly, so I move the content page by page, rebuild the forms, and redirect the old addresses the same way as for WordPress. The price is the same, from $750 for up to 20 pages.
- Have you moved a site like mine before?
- Yes. A US medical billing company's site moved from WordPress to Next.js on Vercel and went live on 2 November 2026, with a mobile PageSpeed score of 98. Of its 134 old addresses, 129 now lead to their new pages, and the other 5 were retired on purpose.
- Do you host the new site?
- No. The new site goes on a hosting account in your name, and its provider bills you directly. I set it up and hand it over, so the site stays yours.
